Ron McCarville splash 1.jpg

Ship Hector, a replica of the original that brought people from Scotland in 1773 to Pictou, Nova Scotia.  This is a photo taken at the "splash" on July 12th 2025, it will be completed with masts and rigging and will eventually take folks for a sail/ride in Pictou Harbour!                                             What a beauty and a treasure!

This is a MUST see when in Pictou along with the museum that tells the story

Glenn and Elizabeth both enjoyed boating on Georgian Bay in Ontario.  We had power boats and eventually sailboats.

Boating had to be the theme of one of our rooms...!

Thanks to Ron McCarville for the photo !
