Glenn & Elizabeth were great hosts in a nice historic home. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A comfortable queen bed and a modern renovated bathroom were great. An individual heat pump in our room came in handy with the hot weather we had for our trip. Very close to some amazing beaches, we hope to be back soon.

Amazing hospitality- Elizabeth and Glenn welcomed us warmly to their charming home that they have sympathetically restored to an incredibly high standard. The bedroom and bathroom were roomy and exceptionally clean - very tasteful decor but with all the mod cons! The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and generous.

This is our 2nd visit at Seabank House, and our stay was just as enjoyable. We arrived early in the afternoon, toured around Pictou, then got settled in. Because we watch for the "Package" between Seabank House and the deCoste centre, we were served a delicious full course supper, went to a concert at the centre, had a great sleep over on the "perfect" mattress, and had a yummy full breakfast next morning. This is a lovely old home and Glenn and Elizabeth are doing a wonderful job of restoring it. So nice and clean! Highly recommend the "total package" where we arrive, park our vehicle, and not have to leave again for eating or entertainment. All within walking distance - great job folks.

We are very happy to be in Seabank House. We have been protected from "Fiona" hurricane, We had a delicious and a nice breakfast despite the weather conditions and lack of electricity. The house is beautiful and Elizabeth is a great cook! Lovely hosts and food.

How fortunate we were to spend 3 nights with Elizabeth and Glenn at their lovingly restored Seabank House Bed and Breakfast! You are the epitome of graciousness and warmth, as well as resourcefulness! Your home is a true and beautiful labour of love. We felt safe and well cared for during Hurricane Fiona. Despite a lack of power, we were plenty warm and cozy. Thank you, Elizabeth and Glenn for the delicious meals that you spontaneously prepared to make sure we are all more than well fed. Our stay with you (and Cassie) and the other guests(from all over Canada and Europe) is one we will cherish always as the BEST in Canadian hospitality. Thank you Patrice and Paul

"Glenn and Elizabeth have a beautiful 1850s home - large rooms, high ceilings, plaster mouldings, and decorative stained glass windows. We stayed in the “Royal Room“. We had a very comfortable sleep. The room was exactly as advertised and as presented on your page. The breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room with period furniture, and was both delicious and filling. My wife loved her fruit bowl, and eggs benedict, and I really appreciated the manner in which our hosts accommodated my need for a Celiac diet. By choice, my breakfast was a little simpler (fruit, eggs over easy, bacon and toast) but they happily toasted my GF bread in my own toaster, and provided a separate type of bacon I can eat. The checkin by Elizabeth was quick and easy. Glenn was kind enough to answer all my questions about the house, old photos on the wall etc. We look forward to returning in a year’s time-this is a new gem in Pictou, Nova Scotia. Thank you again - you’re quintessential Maritime hosts! All the best."

A bit of a hidden gem this place - faded glory on the outside but sumptuous and tastefully fitted out inside. We felt like royalty the way we were treated by our hosts, the beds are luxurious and the breakfast is exceptional. If you’re looking for a five star accommodation for a very affordable price in a charming little town look no further than Seabank!
